The FXS400 Quad-FXS module allows OpenVox Analog A810/A1610/A2410 series cards to terminate four analog telephones per module.

Because of the modular design, users can activate additional ports at any time with more FXS400 or FXO400 modules. These modules pass all the call features any standard analog telephone line will support.

The FXO400 Quad-FXO module allows OpenVox Analog A810/A1610/A2410 series cards to terminate four analog telephones per module.

Because of the modular design, users can activate additional ports at any time with more FXS400 or FXO400 modules. These modules pass all the call features any standard analog telephone line will support.

Functions:

FXS - Foreign Exchange Station    FXO - Foreign Exchange Office

An FXS device initiates and sends ringing voltage. An FXO device receives the voltage sent by the FXS device.

The phone receiving the call is the last FXO device in the chain, and when it receives voltage from an FXS device, the phone will ring.

Connect the outside line to an FXO port on your Asterisk server to receive voltage from the outside lines.

Connect the phones to FXS ports on your Asterisk server. When the FXO module in your Asterisk Server receives the voltage, it will then generate voltage using the FXS module and send it to your analog phone.

OpenVox A(E)1610 Series is a new analog card. It can be used for connecting analog telephones and analog POTS lines through a PC. It deliver the superior voice quality on both FXO and FXS interfaces in all 16 ports and OpenVox AE1610 Series takes full advantage of Octasic® Hardware Echo Cancellation Module.

A(E)1610 Series is a new generation analog card with interchangeable quad-FXS and quad-FXO modules. It can eliminate the requirement for separate channel banks or access gateways.

The A(E)1610 Series contains 4 module banks. Each bank supports one analog interface. The module banks may be filled with up to 4 quad-FXO or quad-FXS modules enabling the creation of any combination of ports. Scaling of an analog card solution is accomplished by simply adding additional cards.

A(E)1610 Series works with Asterisk®, Elastix®, FreeSWITCH™, PBX in a Flash, trixbox®, Yate™ and IPPBX/IVR projects as well as other Open Source and proprietary PBX, Switch, IVR, and VoIP gateway applications.
